Chicago Bravest Baseball

Welcome

The Chicago’s Bravest baseball club originated in the 1990’s.  The players work tirelessly as firefighters and paramedics, protecting those who live and work in Chicago.  With their down time, the 20 members of Chicago’s Bravest enjoy America’s favorite pastime as a way to have fun and contribute even more to the world.  Between playing local baseball teams, other Fire and Police baseball teams from New York, Columbus and elsewhere and the baseball teams of the U.S. Military, Chicago’s Bravest have participated in many charity fundraising events, all while entertaining the people they work every day to defend.
Chicago’s Bravest plays a summer long season, even going on the road (a tradition begun in 2006) to build the brotherhood of America’s firefighters and police force.  The season ends with a Public Safety Championship in September.   There will even be a baseball event at the 2011 Police and Fire games.
In keeping with this sense of brotherhood, Chicago’s Bravest baseball club is a member of the National Police and Fire Baseball Congress (NPFBC).  The NPFBC is an organization unifying all of this country’s dedicated protectors both on and off the field.
So come on out to the ball game and root for your local firefighters!
